Production I.G. and Crunchyroll are adapting writer Jeho Son and illustrator Kwangsu Lee’s popular Noblesse webtoon into a TV anime. And now, Crunchyroll has finally released a brand new key visual for this upcoming anime:
Shunsuke Tada will serve as chief director for this project, with Sayaka Harada on series composition, and Akiharu Ishii on character designs and chief animation supervision. Production I.G. will handle the animation Priduction. Here’s the new anime’s key visual:
Crunchyroll also revealed the cast for this new anime, and they include:
- Cadis Etrama di Raizel – Tarusuke Shingaki
- Frankenstein – Daisuke Hirakawa
- M-21 – Kousuke Onishi
- Tashiro Yusuke – Ryota Iwasaki
- Kase Manabu – Yohei Hamada
The anime itself will premiere via Crunchyroll in October 2020. Here’s how they describe the series’ story:
Raizel awakens from his 820-year slumber.
He holds the special title of Noblesse, a pure-blooded Noble and protector of all other Nobles.
In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye Ran High School, where Raizel learns the simple and quotidian routines of the human world through his classmates.
However, the Union, a secret society plotting to take over the world,
dispatches modified humans and gradually encroaches on Raizel’s life, causing him to wield his mighty power to protect those around him…
After 820 years of intrigue, the secrets behind his slumber are finally revealed, and Raizel’s absolute protection as the Noblesse begins!
