The upcoming anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Burn The Witch manga is finally dropping as a limited release to theatres, events, and blu-ray. And as people are getting hyped for this latest shounen anime, Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel has finally dropped a new PV for it:
It will first be getting event screenings around Japan starting October 2, 2020. On that same date, Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV will also be streaming the anime in Japan. The streamed version will be “an edited version where the content will be a little different from the version that will screen in Japanese theaters”. They also revealed that more cast members, and they include:
- Shimba Tsuchiya as Balgo Parks
- Hiroaki Hirata as Chief
- Rie Hikisaka as Osushi-chan
Tatsurou Kawano is directing the anime over at Studio Colorido, with team Yamahitsuji co-producing it. Kubo initially released the original manga as a one-shot in 2018, and will finally begin serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump today. It is slated to run for four chapters.
