Just a day after Netflix released a brand new key visual for the Beastars Season 2 anime, Paru Itagaki finally ended the original source manga inside the pages of Weekly Shounen Champion magazine. The end comes after a very successful four-year run, inspiring a TV anime. And to celebrate its end, Paru Itagaki herself released a new illustration featuring Legoshi and Huru, and it’s quite cute too!
Paru Itagaki, who is the actual daughter of Baki mangaka Keisuke Itagaki, thanked fans for supporting her work in that four-year run. Fans from all over the world would then reply to her tweet, also thanking the mangaka for her hard work.
As for the anime adaptation, Paru Itagaki previously revealed via Netflix that the second season will also stream in the service. So furries with a Netflix account, rejoice! Itagaki also confirmed that the anime itself is now in production, so furries really have something to look forward to next year. Orange studio, which produced the anime, replied to NX and confirmed that they are still in production of the anime right now.
Beastars Season 2 will also have a TV broadcast via Fuji TV’s +Ultra block in 2021 as well. Orange also animated the first season, with Shinichi Matsumi directing it. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the anime’s upcoming second season in the days to come.
