Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train is currently the #1 movie in Japan, breaking box office records. The movie is now in its second week at #1, after getting the biggest weekend debut in Japanese history. This has cemented the series in the Japanese mainstream, as the anime and manga franchise is popular to a wide demographic. Apparently, it’s also popular to teenage girls in Japan, as the November 2020 edition of the Japanese Seventeen magazine featured Nezuko and Tanjirou in the cover:
The issue featured fashion advice on having Demon Slayer-inspired outfits, and even has a “Full Concentration Breathing”-based diet. However, the latter seems to be mainly exercise tips than an a meal plan. It also featured interviews with Natsuki Hanae, who voices Tanjirou, as well as Akari Kitou, who voices Nezuko.
And that’s not all, because the November issue also came with some Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba clear files as well:
Seventeen Japan’s November 2020 issue is now available in newstands in Japan.
