Constantin Film is adapting Capcom’s Monster Hunter video game franchise into a live-action Hollywood movie, And now, Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a brand new teaser trailer. It previews a Black Diablos coming into our world from the world of Monster Hunter.
The video also lists the movie’s December opening as well. Sony originally planned to release the live-action Monster Hunter movie back in September 4, 2020. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed their plans, and it now has a December 2020 release.
In the movie, Tony Jaa will play a character known as “The Hunter”, alongside Ron Perlman, who will play the leader of “The Hunter’s” crew. Meanwhile, Jovovich will play a character named Artemis, while T.I. Harris will play the group’s sniper, Link. Constantin Film is producing the movie, which has a 60 million USD budget. Meanwhile, Screen Gems has revealed the movie’s story:
