Sony and PlayStation Asia have now announced more details on the PlayStation 5 release for the Philippines. It will hit the country’s stores in December 11, 2020. Specifically, PlayStation Asia announced that the PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive will be available for an SRP of PHP 27,990. This will be for the normal edition of the console, which comes with the Blu-ray disc drive. They have not yet announced prices for the Digital Edition in the Philippines, though it is USD100 cheaper than the standard edition.  Both versions will come with the new Dual Sense Controller.

Of course, it will come with several launch day games, and PlayStation Asia also announced how much they will cost. These include the highly-anticipated Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

  • Astro’s Playroom (Japan Studio) – pre-installed on PS5
  • Demon’s Souls (Bluepoint Games / Japan Studio) – PHP 3,490 (SRP)
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (Insomniac Games) – PHP 2,490 (SRP)
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (Insomniac Games) – PHP 3,490 (SRP)
  • Sackboy A Big Adventure (Sumo Digital / XDEV) – PHP 2,990 (SRP)

The also announced the prices for the various accessories for the new console as well:

  • DualSense Wireless Controller (standalone) – PHP 3,990
  • PULSE 3D wireless headset – with 3D audio support and dual noise-cancelling microphones PHP 5,590
  • HD Camera – with dual 1080p lenses for gamers to broadcast themselves along with their epic gameplay moments PHP 3,290
  • DualSense Charging Station – to conveniently charge two DualSense Wireless Controllers PHP 1,690

The PS5 will launch  for the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea today.
