The Nakano sisters are finally returning with the second season of the anime adaptation of Negi Haruba’s The Quintessential Quintuplets manga. And now, the staff have released a brand new character PV for the upcoming anime. This one focuses on the lovable tsundere sister herself, Nino!

The website also announced that Kaori will be the new director, replacing Season 1’s Satoshi Kuwabara. Keiichirou Ooichi will be returning as script writer though. However, Bibury Animation Studio, will now be taking over animation production for Texuka Productions. But don’t worry, because the cast will indeed be returning from the second season.

The anime was supposed to premiere in October. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic happened and the staff decided to delay the anime to January 2021.

Here’s how Kodansha Comics describes the manga’s story:

One day, a poor high school second-year named Futaro Uesugi comes across a private tutoring gig with good pay. But his pupils are his classmates!! And they’re quintuplets!! A-and they’re all gorgeous girls, but they’re also troublemakers who hate to study and are on the verge of flunking out! And his first task is simply gaining the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a party! The curtain is rising on the Nakano quintuplets’ quirky romantic comedy with five times the cute!!

So, who is excited for Season 2? Because we surely are!
