Weekly Shounen Jump magazine’s 2nd issue for 2021 has announced that the “parallel story” arc for Taishi Tsutsui’s Bokuben: We Never Learn manga has now concluded with its fifth and final chapter. The magazine also announced that the story will have both its climax and conclusion on the next issue, which is the combined 3rd and 4th issue of Shounen Jump.
According to the announcement, this next chapter will be skipping to the future and will tell the story’s conclusion.
The parallel story chapters tell of the various endings Nariyuki has with each heroine. But with the climax and conclusion happening next week, it seems we might see who wins Nariyuki’s heart after all. As for the combined 3rd and 4th issue of Shounen Jump, it will hit Japanese shelves on December 21.
Viz Media publishes the manga in English. Here’s how they describe its story:
Nariyuki Yuiga comes from an impoverished family, so he’s eager to secure a full scholarship to college when he graduates high school. His principal agrees, with one stipulation—he must tutor the two smartest girls at the school and make sure they get into their target colleges! Rizu is a science genius who wants to study liberal arts. Fumino is effortlessly good at literature, but math makes her head spin. Nariyuki is stuck between a rock and a hard place, but who can complain about tutoring a couple of cute girls?
