The Jump Festa 21 announcements just keep on coming. And during a stage presentation for the TV anime adaptation of Kaiu Shirai and Posuka Demizu’s The Promised Neverland manga, they revealed a brand new PV. The video serves as the second season’s second PV, and the series’ Twitter page has now released it online:

The second season itself will premiere on January 7, 2021.They originally scheduled the anime to premiere in October 2020. Unfortunately, with COVID-19 causing animation production delays everywhere. However, with the January 7 release date announcement, we can now breathe easier just a little bit. Here’s the anime’s previously-revealed key visual:

The Promised Neverland Season 2 will premiere in Japan on January 7, 2021.

Netflix is now streaming the anime’s first season here in Southeast Asia. Here’s how Viz, which distributes the manga in North America, describes the manga’s story:

Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life.
