During the Jump Festa 21 event last weekend, they had a stage presentation for Sana Kirioka’s Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi manga. There, they revealed that the series will receive a TV anime adaptation. They even released a teaser visual for the upcoming anime adaptation as well:
The stage presentation also revealed several production details as well. Jun Hatori will be directing the anime, with Synergy SP producing the animation. Meanwhile, Mayu Watanabe will be working as character designer, while Hiroko Fukuda will be writing the scripts, as well as overseeing them. They also announced that Yuusuke Kobayashi will star as Tamahiko Shima, while Saya Aizawa will voice Yuzuki Tachibana.
The anime will follow a young man named Tamahiko Shima, who lost his right hand after an accident. One day, his father brings him Yuzuki to be his wife. And as they spend their days together, Yuzuki slowly begins to change the usually pessimistic and withdrawn Tamahiko.
So far, they have not yet announced a release window for the anime, as well as additional cast and staff members. Expect them to reveal more details in the days to come.
