2-part Fate/Grand Order OVA announced, to be titled Fate/Grand Carnival
The “Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special 2020” finally aired on the final evening of 2020. And there, they revealed that Fate/Grand Order is inspiring a new OVA series. It will come in “two seasons” and its title will be Fate/Grand Carnival. They even released a new video announcing the upcoming OVA project.

Each new “season” will run for around 30 minutes. They will release them in either Blu-ray or DVD format, with the “First season” releasing on June 2. The “Second Season” will then follow on August 25, 2021. Seiji Kishi, who worked at the helm of the Carnival Phantasm anime, will be directing the project as well, with Lerche producing the animation.
Rie Takahashi, Minami Tanaka, Rumi Okubo, Aoi Yuuki, Nao Touyama, Ayane Sakura, Saori Hayami, Ayako Kawasumi, Kana Ueda, Sakura Tange, and Mai Kadowaki are all reprising their roles from the Fate/Grand Order games and anime as well. The respective seiyuu are also performing the new OP song “Super Affection” as their respective Fate characters.
