Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima is getting a third manga animated, and it’s his latest work, Eden’s Zero. And now, Kodansha has released a new PV for the upcoming anime. It introduces a few characters, as well as announces new staff members. It also announced that the anime will premiere on April 10, 2021.
As mentioned in the video, the main cast includes:
- Takuma Terashima as Shiki Granbell
- Mikako Komatsu as Rebecca Bluegarden
- Rie Kugimiya as Happy
Yes folks, Rie Kugimiya is voicing Happy… again! She first voiced the flying Blue Cat for Fairy tail of course.
Shinji Ishihara, who previously directed the Fairy Tail anime, will be serving as chief director, with former Fairy Tail episode director Yuushi Suzuki directing. J.C. Staff will be animating this new project, with Mitsutaka Hirota writing the scripts, while Yurika Sako us serving as character designer.
Kodansha is releasing the manga in English, and here’s how they describe its story:
At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
