Girls Frontline fans, rejoice! The hit Chinese mobile game from SUNBORN Network is getting a TV anime. Warner Bros. Japan will be bringing us an official TV anime based on the game, with Asahi Production producing this new series. The official website has also launched, and it reveals a 2021 premiere date, for both streaming and broadcast.

Original game artist Dyoyuanjun released new character visuals for the four T-Dolls from AR Team, M4A1, M16A1, M4 SOPMOD II, and ST AR-15 to celebrate the anime adaptation news.

The anime’s Japanese title will be Dolls’ Frontline, which is also the game’s Japanese title. However, for the rest of the world, we will simply know it as Girls’ Frontline. Here is how the staff describe the franchise:

Girls’ Frontline is a mobile strategy role-playing game which launched in Mainland China followed by Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and English Speaking Territories. The player takes on the role of a newly recruited commander who must complete various tasks by commanding highly advanced female androids also known as the Tactical Dolls.

Expect the staff to reveal more details in the days to come.
