Melodias and the Seven Deadly Sins are now back with their latest TV anime season, The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement. But it looks like we are getting more! Kodansha has announced that Nakaba Suzuki’s popular shounen manga is also inspiring a new anime movie. Its title will be The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed By Light, and it will serve as a direct sequel to the current anime season.

The anime will have an all-original story not found in the manga, with creator Nakaba Suzuki himself writing uts story. Unfortunately, Kodansha did not reveal any further details about this new animated feature film yet. Expect the staff to reveal more details in the days to come.

Netflix is currently streaming the Seven Deadly Sins anime, and are exclusively streaming the current The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement anime. As for the manga, it ended back in March 2020. However, Suzuki will be launching a direct sequel to the series titled Mokushiroku no Yon-kishi on January 27.
