Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is certainly the hottest anime title in Japan right now. And it has inspired some fans to create some jaw-dropping works. However, one fan, who happens to be a traditional Japanese confectionary skilled at making a particular dessert called nerikiri, has taken fan works to another level.

Junichi Mitsubori (@c9z_mj) posted his Demon Slayer-inspired Nekiri, which is a mixture of sweet white bean paste and extra-soft mochi called Gyuhi. He completed nine pieces, as seen in the image above. Each one is inspired by a character from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. These include Nezuko, Tanjirou, Innosuke, and many more. Each one as beautiful as the other.

Mitsubori does not seem to have plans on mass-producing these edible works of art, as making them would take a huge amount of time. However, people in Japan agree that these Japanese sweets look too good to eat.
