The video features Shinichi Kudo’s voices in Japanese, English, Korean, German, and Chinese. Really hammers home Conan’s global popularity, huh?
Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet will be the 24th movie in the franchise. They originally planned to release it in April 17, 2020, but delayed its release due to COVID-19. Its new release date in Japan will be on April 16, 2021, almost a year after the originally-planned release date.
This new movie will be focusing on Shuichi Akai and his family. In the story, Japan will be holding the World Sports Games in Tokyo. And in conjunction with the games, they’re introducing a new hi-tech train. However, sponsors for the train start getting kidnapped on the lead up to its introduction. What’s more is that Conan deduces that abductions have been occuring for 15 years, since Boston held the World Sports Games.
Tomoka Nagaoka, who directed the previous movie, The Fist of Blue Sapphire, is returning as director.
