The results for this year’s Seiyuu Awards are finally in! The 15th Annual Seiyuu Awards has now revealed which Japanese voice actors, or seiyuu, won the various awards for 2021. Here are the big winners:

Best Lead Actor: Kenjirou Tsuda (Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Kaiba Seto, Attack on Titan’s Hannes)

Best Lead Actress: Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan’s Mikasa Ackerman, Violet Evergarden’s Violet Evergarden)

Best Supporting Actor: Takehito Koyasu (Gintama’s Shinsuke Takasugi and Attack On Titan’s Zeke/Beast Titan)

Best Supporting Actor: Nobunaga Shimazaki (Baki’s Baki Hanma and Black Clover’s Yuuno)

Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note’s Gray, Pokemon Sun & Moon’s Mao)

Best Supporting Actress: Akari Kitou (Demon Slayer’s Nezuko Kamado, In/Spectre’s Kotoko Iwanaga)

Other winners for this year includes:

Best New Actor: Masahiro Itou, Chiaki Kobayashi, and Shimba Tsuchiya

Best New Actress: Rin Aira, Kana Ichinose, Riho Sugiyama, Natsumi Fujiwara, and Azumi Waki

Singing Award: Walküre (Macross Delta)

Personality Award (Seiyuu who have done notable work in radio, web, or TV as a personality while using their own name): Hiroki Yasumoto

Foreign Film/ Live-action Award (Seiyuu who work in live-action Japanese dubs for foreign works): Kazuhiro Yamaji and Kazue Komiya

Kids Award: Rie Nakagawa

Influencer Award: Kotori Koiwai

Most Valuable Seiyuu (MVS): Hiro Shimono

Merit Award (Special Award given to Seiyuu who have contributed to many genre in voice acting): Eiko Masuyama and Masane Tsukayama

Special Honor Award: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Synergy Award (Given to works that best showcase the talents of seiyuu): Voicarion IX: Teikoku Koe Kabuki ~Nobunaga no Inu~

Kei Tomiyama Award (Special Award given to male seiyuu active in every field of acting): Toshihiko Seki

Kazue Takahashi Award (Special Award given to female seiyuu active in every field of acting): Yoshiko Sakakibara

They held the awarding ceremony at the Bunka Housou Media Plus Hall back in March 6, 2021.
