Kadokawa has announced that Tomoki Izumi’s horror comedy manga series, Mieruko-chan, is getting a TV Anime Adaptation. They revealed that the anime will be airing in Japan sometime later this year. They also unveiled a brand new PV announcing this new series as well:
Yen press describes the anime’s story as:
One day, Miko suddenly started seeing grotesque beings that others couldn’t. Her response was not to run, not to face them, but to do everything she can to completely ignore them! Can she keep a straight face and continue her day-to-day life while surrounded by horrifying monsters?
The staff also unveiled a brand new key visual for the anime:
Yuki Ogawa will be directing this new anime series, with Passione producing the animation. Juuni Taisen: Zodiac War’s Chikashi Kadekaru is designing the characters, as well as serving as chief animation director. Meanwhile, Kenta Ihara is writing and supervising the scripts, while Makoto Uno is handling the monster designs.
