After unveiling the statues of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin in Attack on Titan mangaka Hajime Isayama’s hometown, the city of Hita in Oita Prefecture has now unveiled a new statue from the manga. This time, it’s a life-size bronze statue of Levi. They erected the statue just outside of JR Hita Station.

In a statement, Isayama said that he is indebted to Levi. This is because he is the series’ most popular character, and has supported the franchise all the way. The mangaka even says he jopes that Levi is pleased with all of this.
