AnimeJapan 2021 has finally kicked off earlier today, and they started with plenty of big stage events. One of the biggest of course was Netflix. One of their biggest reveals is for the Sengoku-era historical anime, Yasuke. There, they revealed that the series will premiere on May 29th, and will have six episodes. They also revealed a brand new Key Visual as well:

Of course, Yasuke will follow a black samurai. The story gets its inspiration from Oda Nobunaga’s own African retainer, Yasuke. MAPPA is responsible for animating the project.

The next reveal is a brand new 3DCG anime titled “Eden”. It follows a little girl raised by robots. This limited series will premiere on May 27, 2021.

And finally, Netflix also unveiled a brand new trailer for Record of Ragnarok. The videi reveals that the series will premiere exclusively via Netflix in June 2021. The stage presentation also released a brand new visual for the anime as well.

Well, that’s just a taste of the streaming service’s exclusives. Expect Netflix to reveal more exclusive anime content later in the year.
