The anime adaptation for Ryo Shirakome’s Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest isekai light novels is getting a second season. And now, the website has finally updated to reveal a brand new PV. They also announced that the second season will premiere in January 2022.

Akira Iwanaga (Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee) will be the new director, with asread animating the project with Studio Mother. Shoichi Sato will be writing and overseeing the scripts, while Chika Kojima is returning as both character designer and chief animation director. Much of the cast from the first season will be returning for the new season as well. Here is the anime’s new key visual:
