Esports returns to the SEA Games with Mobile Legends Bang Bang, League of Legends, Arena of Valor, and more!
When the Philippines hosted the Southeast Asian Games a few years ago, they introduced ESports to the games. And now, with the upcoming 2021 Southeast Asian Games happening in Hanoi, Vietnam, they are continuing the trend. And with that, the Vietnam Electronic Sports and Entertainment Association have now announced which games will be played:
The following games are: PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends Bang Bang, League of Legends Wild Rift, Free Fire, League of Legends, Arena of Valor, Cross Fire, and FIFA Online 4. All of these games that they will be playing on for the 31st Southeast Asian Games are massively popular in the region.
The games themselves will happen from November 21 to December 2, 202. Top athletes in the region will gather and compete in sports mainly played at the Asian Games and the Olympics. This will be the second time that Vietnam has hosted the SEA Games. The country has successfully organized several international esports events, with many strong contenders vying for the championship.
