Netflix Japan recently held a live program for the anime adaptation of f Kousuke Oono’s The Way of the Househusband. There, the staff and cast confirmed that the anime will be getting a second part soon. Unfortunately, they did not reveal any further details about the series yet.
Shizuka Itou, who voices Miku, as well as Kenjirou Tsuda, who voices Tatsu, attended the live presentation. In the anime, they star alongside Kazuyuki Okitsu, who voices Masa, Tatsu’s former yakuza underling. Meanwhile, J.C. Staff animated the series, with Chiaki Kon directing the project.
Kousuke Oono’s The Way of the Househusband follows the daily life of Tatsu, who gave up his life of crime as a Yakuza enforcer to live with Miku. The manga follows him in his day to day activities, from fighting dirt and grime around their apartment, to the daily battles in getting those sale items at the grocery. The manga also inspired a live-action TV series starring Hiroshi Tamaki as the one and only Tatsu.
