Well, it looks like virtual idol Hatsune Miku might be attracting some bronies really soon. This is because Japanese figure makers, Kotobukiya, has announced that Hatsune Miku is joining their Bishoujo line… as a horse from My Little Pony. This brings together two very popular IPs, and is an official collaboration between Hasbro and Miku.
They will base the figure on artwork by Shunya Yamashita, just like majority of other Kotobukiya Bishoujo figures. Of course, this will include Miku’s own My Little Pony version, which Yamashita also designed. Will this mean that Miku will be showing up in Equestria soon? Who knows…
Unfortunately, Kotobukiya has not yet revealed a prototype for the figure, nor its release window yet. We also don’t know how much it will cost. However, do expect them to release more details in the days to come. For now, bronies, pegasisters, and Miku fans would have to wait.
