My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes Mission will be the latest film for Kohei Horikoshi’s hit My Hero Academia manga. And now, the staff have released a brand new trailer for the movie. It features brand new footage, as well as previews the theme song “Empathy” by Asian Kung-Fu Generation.

The movie itself will have an original story where our heroes take on a mysterious organization which aims in destroying people with quirks. It will also add in some new characters, such as Fleck Turn, voiced by Kazuya Nakai, the leader of the secret organization, as well as Rody, voiced by Ryou Yoshizawa. He is a boy that Deku, Bakugou, and Todoroki encounter.

As we previously revealed, the anime will premiere in Japan on August 6, 2021. Much like the previous TV anime seasons, BONES will be animating the series. Kenji Nagasaki will return as chief director, while Masahiro Mukai returns as director. Much of the anime’s previous staff are also returning for the Movie. These include Yousuke Kuroda with the scripts, and Yoshihiko Umakoshi as character designer, with Hitomi Odashima as assistant character designer.
