The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is really pushing through, COVID-19 pandemic and all. And part of the Olympics will be the games‘ official guidebook, which features articles, illustrations, schedules, and other important information. Among the illustrators providing their services for the guidebooks are some very prominent mangaka.

Here are what they drew for the Olympics:

Eiichiro Oda (One Piece) for Karate

Hajime Isayama (Attack on Titan) for Sport Climbing

Naoko Yakeuchi (Sailor Moon) for Skateboarding

Yoshikazu Yasuhiko (Gundam the Origin) for Surfing

In addition, the book itself also revealed that renowned anime movie director, Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, Wolf Children), has contributed to the book with an article.

The book has now hit the shelves in Japan. However, its English version will be releasing on July 21. It will feature the schedule for the games, as well as information such as venues, major records, and the big names competing in certain events.
