It looks like Part 8 of Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, also known as Jojolion, will be ending very soon. The legendary mangaka himself announced on Twitter that it will end on the September 2021 edition of Ultra Jump magazine. It will be shipping out on August 19, 2021.
The story is set in 2012 in the town of Morioh, right after it was devastated by the 2011 Touhoku earthquake and tsunami, It follows a young man calling himself “Josuke,” as he tries to uncover his past, as well as fight a local crime syndicate. Araki launched the manga back in May 2011, and has collected 26 tankoubon manga volumes as of writing. It’s set in a different continuity from the first six parts of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, but in the same continuity as Part 7, Steel Ball Run.
As for the TV anime, Part 6 of the franchise, Stone Ocean, is getting a TV anime adaptation. It follows Jotaro’s daughter, Jolyne Cujoh, who is framed for murder. She must now prove her innocence, as well as face off against Dio’s former follower. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the anime in the days to come.
