Tokyo Revengers is also getting a live-action movie adaptation coming soon. And after getting a character trailer for Mikey and Doraken, Warner Bros. Japan has now released a new teaser video. And this time, it teases the Tokyo Manji Gang.
The movie was supposed to premiere in October of last year. Unfortunately, COVID-19 cases in Japan spiked, and they had to delay the movie. They also had to halt filming back in April 2020 because of the virus. It will now premiere on July 9, 2021.
The cast includes Takumi Kitamura as Takemichi Hanagaki, Mio Imada as Hinata Tachibana, Yuki Yamada as Ken Ryuuguuji, Yosuke Sugino as Naoto Tachibana, Nobuyuki Suzuki as Masataka Shimizu, Hayato Isomura as Atsushi Sendou, Shotaro Mamiya as Tetta Kisaki, and Ryou Yoshizawa as Manjirou Sano. Finally, Mio Imada is playing the female lead, Hinata Tachibana in the film.
Kodansha Comics releases the time-traveling delinquent manga in English. Here is how they describe its story:

To save Hinata, and change the life he spent running away, hopeless part-timer Takemichi must aim for the top of Kanto’s most sinister delinquent gang!!
