After a ton of rumours, and when the Japanese newspaper Shukan Bunshun has reported that seiyuu and OLDCODEX vocalist Tatsuhisa Suzuki has been cheating on his wife, singer LiSA, the couple have apparently gone on hiatus. The couple announced their marriage last January 20.

LiSA’s official website has now announced that her “LiVE is Smile Always ~Ladybug~” concerts at Marine Messe in Fukuoka have been cancelled. Sony Music Artists Inc. and Sacra Music have already released apologies to the fans, and will be refunding tickets soon. The official reason for cancelling the shows was because she was suffering from mental and physical fatigue.

As for Suzuki, a few minutes after LiSA announced her hiatus, he also announced his. The official OLDCODEX website stated that the vocalist will be going on hiatus due to “poor health”. Because of this, OLDCODEX will not be appearing at the “Animelo Summer Live 2021 Colors” concert on August 29. However, the band’s next single, which acts as the theme song for Free! The Final Stroke, will still be releasing on Seotember 5th. The staff would then issue an apology to everyone, including fans and organizers. I’m Enterprise, which serves as Suzuki’s agency, has clarified that he is individually going on hiatus. They also announced that he has been in poor health over the past few days.

Of course, these announcements come as the cheating allegations on Suzuki intensify., The seiyuu/vocalist allegedly slept with a fan who works at a recording studio where Suzuki records his songs. Photos of the two would surface as well. The woman he has been seeing was apparently a fan of his before even meeting him. She was also not quiet about her relationship with Suzuki, and was bragging about it on social media. She even posted a photo of a hotel room key where she and Suzuki slept together in. These photos would then circulate around the Japanese entertainment industry.
