Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc Reveals Fall 2021 Release, Will have 2 Continuous Cours
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is returning with a second season. Its title is Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, and the official website has revealed new details. According to the announcement, the anime will have two cours, much like the first season. They will happen between the Fall 2021 and Winter 2022 seasons. This means that the anime will be continous amd not split cour, as most 2-cour anime are nowadays.
The site also announced that Fuji TV will be airing the anime weekly. To be exact, they will broadcast the second season every Sunday night at 11:15 p.m. Fuji TV will also be airing the first season with new gootage in a marathon across five nights. It will begin on September 11 at 7:00 p.m. with the Siblings’ Bond arc. It will end with the Hashira Meeting Arc and Butterfly Mansion Arc on September 23.
This new arc will take place at the Yoshiwara red-light district. It will center on Tengen Uzui, the sound Hashira, who is looking for his missing wives in Yoshiwara. ufotable will also be animating this new season, much like the TV anime and movie. It follows the Mugen Train film, which takes place right after the events of the TV anime.
