Netflix will be exclusively streaming the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean manga. And now, their official Media Center website has revealed that they will be releasing the series monthly. This will be for Japan, as well as other countries. They will also be starting the stream for the anime in December this year.
Unfortunately, it’s still unclear how many episodes they will be releasing every month. After Netflix will stream the anime in December, several networks will begin airing episodes of the anime on TV starting January 2022.
The anime’s cast will include:
- Ai Fairouz as Jolyne Cujoh
- Mutsumi Tamura as Ermes Costello
- Mariya Ise as F.F (Foo Fighters)
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Emporio
- Alnino Yuichiro Umehara as Weather Forecast (Weather Report)
- Daisuke Namikawa as Narciso Anastasia (Narciso Anasui)
- Daisuke Ono as Jotaro Kujo
Kenichi Suzuki (Jojo parts 1-3) is returning as chief director, while Diamond is Unbreakable’s Toshiyuki Kato is also returning as director. David Production is animating the series, while Masanori Shino is designing the characters. Golden Wind Chief Animation Director Shunichi Ishimoto is also coming back to design the Stands.
The anime will adapt the sixth part of Hirohiko Araki’s mega-popular Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series. Also known as Stone Ocean, it follows Jotaro’s daughter, Jolyne Cujoh, who is framed for murder. She must now prove her innocence, as well as face off against Dio’s former follower. Expect the staff to reveal more details about the anime in the days to come.
