What if a 17-year old Loser becomes a ninja to fight other assassins? Well, that is exactly the premise of Kengo Hanazawa’s Under Ninja manga. And now, Young Magazine has announced that the series is getting itself a TV anime adaptation.
The manga follows a Japan-based agency formed during World War 2. It combats terrorism in the Pacific region, and is made up of ninja. The story will focus on 17-year old Kudo, a loser who becomes one of these ninja. And now, Tokyo is facing a surge of international assassins, and Kudo must be one of the people to deal with the threat. The manga already has an English version by Denpa.
Unfortunately, the announcement did not reveal any further details about the anime yet. All we know for now is that its format, which will be a TV anime. The Tweet announcing the anime even said it’s “Top Secret”. They have not yet revealed its cast, staff, studio, and release window as of yet. It looks like we would have to wait a bit further for more details in the days to come.
