Netflix will be releasing the latest Pokemon movie, Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. But before they will stream the anime film globally, they have now released a brand new trailer. It features the Mythical Pokemon Zarude, as well as announces its global release date, October 8, 2021. That is right folks, Netflix will be streaming the movie starting next month!

This new movie will have an original story set in Okoya Forest. It is a Pokemon sanctuary, and outsiders are forbidden from entering it. There, Ash and Pikachu encounter a boy named Koko, a wild child raised by the mythical Pokemon Zarude. Its theme will be “Humans raised by Pokemon,” much like Tarzan’s and The Jungle Book’s “Human raised by animals” story.

OLM once again produced the animation, just like what they did for previous Pokemon films and TV anime. Tetsuo Yajima, who previously directed Pokemon The Movie: Power of Us, has once again returned at the helm of the anime as well.
